CONNECT YOUR ROOTS is an initiative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Netherlands. The goal is to build bridges and share common values, with a focus on family history and identity.

The event is supported by FamilySearch, the world’s largest archive for family history and online family trees. The church's communications department collaborates with other organizations such as CBG | Center for Family History, MyHeritage, and genealogical associations.

CONNECT YOUR ROOTS started as an event for young adults (ages 17-35), but has now evolved into an inspiring experience for anyone curious about their roots. Parents, in particular, recognize how important it is to pass on stories, values, and culture to the next generation.

The music, atmosphere, and setting are youthful and energetic, but we especially invite parents and families to join the discovery journey together. Connect with your past, share your stories, and uncover surprising family ties – perhaps even with others at the event!
