CONNECT YOUR ROOTS is an initiative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Netherlands. The goal is to build bridges and share common values, with a focus on family history and identity.
 

The event is supported by FamilySearch, the world's largest family history archive and online family tree. The church's communications department collaborates with other parties such as CBG|Center for Family History, MyHeritage and genealogical associations.
 

Originally aimed at young people aged 17-35, CONNECT YOUR ROOTS has been expanded in its second edition to a wider audience, including families, friends and individuals looking for connection. The event encourages exchange between generations and welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds and cultures to become enthusiastic about further exploring their roots and possibly even discovering (distant) relatives in this diverse group!
